Today is a miserable day, not just because every second news story is talking about those bastard car bombs, but because it is peeing down with rain and is far too cold for the 30th of friggin June! I mean c’mon! I know it’s Wimbledon but I’m sitting here in a knitted jumper jeans AND socks! Its cold dammit!
I don’t want to dismiss the bombs completely, of course it’s disgusting and frightening that such a threat exists, but the fact is I refuse to be scared, I refuse to worry. As long as I know everyone I care about is OK and unaffected I will get on with my life as normal as can be.
Remember 7/7? We are not afraid.
As it is, I’ve just painted my nails a shocking red and made myself a loverly (yes lovERly) cup of mango and Malibu tea (it’s delicious try it) and am waiting for my parents to clear off so I can watch Salo uninterrupted without worrying what they will think when they see me watching it.
Tea and a previously banned film…the way to brighten a miserable day. Well, only if alcohol and going out are out of bounds.
And great…breaking news as I type this, a burning car driven into Glasgow airport = all flights cancelled. Will all the fucking terrorists piss off now please?
Mmmm tea.
Edit: Didn't enjoy Salo, in fact turned it off 20 minutes in...
